To celebrate Brian Mellor Financial Services 30th year in business, this August members of staff took on a challenging 23 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Douglas Macmillan.

Taking just over 7 hours to complete, the team started the route from the office on Russell Street, taking in local landmarks such as Rudyard Lake, Tittesworth Reservoir and The Roaches.

Director, Brian Mellor, said ‘Since beginning the business in 1993, we have always felt it is important to give back to charity and therefore thought of no better way to celebrate our 30th year than raising money for a cause close to our hearts.

The Dougie Mac has been caring for the community since 1973. They provide all hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 local people with life-limiting illnesses each year in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages. They also offer essential support to their families and carers.

Thanks to kind donations from clients, friends and colleagues we have managed to raise £5,073.35.

The walk was a fantastic success and a credit to the team who support the business on a daily basis.’

The team at Brian Mellor Financial Services proudly presented the cheque to Douglas Macmillan on 26th October 2023 and would like to thank everyone for the outstanding support shown.
